What you can do

Owners and permitted managers control the group; eligible public groups may be promoted.

On the website

1. Open Community in the main menu or Communities on Home.

Steps

1. Open My Communities and your community’s management actions.
2. To start a group, choose Create community and enter its name, description, location and offered visibility/membership choices. Save and review the resulting group.
3. Maintain the group information, membership and moderation settings available to your role.
4. When Promote is offered, choose audience/goals and review the server quote before paying.
5. Promotion does not bypass private membership or moderation rules.
