Its work focuses on food security, health, nutrition, infrastructure rehabilitation, water and sanitation, functional literacy, support for elected local officials, and community development in general in the Far North Region. JOB DESCRIPTION MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Cashier Full Time
Reporting to the Accountant of Tammounde Speranza, the cashier is responsible for processing invoice payments and systematically filing accounting documents.
The cashier’s main responsibilities will be asSystematically verifying the accuracy of all transferred accounting documents;
Managing petty cash;
Producing and filing accounting documents monthly;
Entering routine transactions ;
Systematically entering and checking all invoices;
Preparing and submitting payroll slips and social security contribution statements;
Paying invoices;
Periodic inventory management;
Maintaining various journals;
managing accounting software;
ensuring the proper archiving of all accounting documents related to project implementation;
participating in all coordination meetings initiated by the financial partner or the employer;
initiating actions to ensure the achievement of project results; and performing all other tasks assigned by the Regional Administrative and Financial Officer (RAF) and the National Coordinator of Tammounde Speranza.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in a similar position, preferably within an international or local organization; and fluency in written and spoken French. Written and spoken fluency in English is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting software is required.
