Anucam Educational Books (AEB) Plc, a leading educational publisher in Cameroon since 1984, is recruiting a Publishing Assistant to join its team.

📍 Location: Buea (with frequent travel)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time (6-month probation leading to permanent employment)

🔍 About the Role

Based at our Head Office in Buea, you will play an active role in discovering new authors, supporting publishing projects, and promoting our books using modern digital tools. This is a career opportunity, not an internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate manuscripts from schools and institutions
  • Support authors throughout the publishing process (including self-publishing)
  • Assist in copyediting, proofreading, and content development
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms
  • Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
  • Help organize book launches and literary events
  • Improve publishing processes using IT tools
👤 Who We’re Looking For

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Publishing, Literature, Communication, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English (French is an added advantage)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media tools
  • Creative, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Willing to travel across Cameroon
